4. Legal Basis, Purpose of Processing Personal Data & Retention

The purpose of processing personal data is to receive, handle, and track contact requests sent through the website, to document customer communication, and to ensure quality.

Processing of personal data is based on the following GDPR articles:

  1. Contract-related measures (Art. 6.1.b) — when the message concerns a service request or an offer.

  2. Legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6.1.f)  when messages are stored for ensuring the quality of customer service, developing service processes, or handling possible complaints.

  3. Consent (Art. 6.1.a)  when given voluntarily, for example in connection with marketing communication.

Personal data that are no longer necessary will be removed when their retention is no longer appropriate, and no later than 2 years after collection.
You may also at any time request us to delete part or all of your data from any or all of our registers.

8. Principles of Register Protection

Care is taken when processing the register and data processed through information systems is protected.
When data is stored on Internet servers, their security is ensured appropriately in both our own and outsourced services.

All data is protected behind at least a password, on servers secured with TLS/SSL.
Our website is fully protected with TLS/SSL.

The controller ensures that stored information as well as server access rights and other security-critical data are handled confidentially and only by employees whose job requires it.

Access to the email archive is restricted exclusively to the company’s top management.

9. Right of Access and Right to Request Correction

Every individual has the right to check the data stored about them in the register and request correction of any incorrect or incomplete data.
A request must be sent to the data controller. Proof of identity may be required.

The controller will respond within the time frame set by the EU GDPR (generally within one month).

When requesting a register extract, please specify which register you want your data from.

10. Other Rights Related to Personal Data Processing

Individuals have the right to request the deletion of their personal data from the register (“right to be forgotten”). They also have other rights according to the EU GDPR, such as the right to restrict processing in certain situations. Requests must be sent to the data controller.

Your rights include for example:

  • the right to rectify data

  • the right to object to processing

  • the right to withdraw consent

  • the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
